What is The Embassy?
The Embassy is about understanding ourselves and our world and living wisely. It will help you understand our culture, faith, meaning, trends, theology, philosophy, and leadership. It will be delivered to your inbox or you can visit the website for all previous resources. These Dispatches from The Embassy come once per week for subscribers in the form of links, takes, and views:
A link is to a podcast, story, article, or essay to help you understand, grow, and develop.
A take is a short comment on a current trend or observation about the world.
A view is an article, review or resource that is of medium length or longer.
All of these should be about living wisely with faith, hope, love, and grace in a world that often makes that difficult. (We make it difficult for ourselves, too.)
Mike Sherman
is interested in culture, faith, leadership, and understanding our world.
I am curious about the world and have been studying our culture, theology, relationships, and leadership for a long time. I have led small groups and large toward a better understanding of life, faith, and mission. The Embassy is a place for that collected wisdom and for fresh insight. Thanks for your interest.
